Welcome to SciDemos!
Every week on Friday, a group of ten volunteers reaches out to an elementary school in the Denton area and performs various science experiments, inspiring kids to think outside the box. We believe that education in STEM is critical for the empowerment of young minds, as the children of today will be the leaders of tomorrow. From elephant toothpaste to disappearing water to anemometers, SciDemos experiments teach kids about various science topics, whether it's chemical reactions, molecular forces, or mechanics.
This year, we will be volunteering at Borman Elementary and Ginnings Elementary in Denton, Texas. Please contact Adam Chen if you have any questions!
